Méditrip
48h Hackathon • Design & Dev Collaboration
LaravelPHPGit
Description
Méditrip was born during the 'Marathon du Web', an intensive event challenging us to build a fully functional website from scratch in just 48 hours without breaks. The goal was to create a social platform for logging and sharing Mediterranean travel experiences.
Key Achievements
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Led the technical implementation within a mixed team of 3 Developers and 4 Multimedia Designers (MMI). A key success factor was bridging the gap between design concepts (HTML/CSS provided by designers) and the logical constraints of the Laravel framework.
- Endurance & Delivery: Delivered a stable product under extreme time pressure and sleep deprivation. This experience sharpened my ability to prioritize essential features (MVP) to meet a non-negotiable deadline.
- Built a robust backend supporting complex relationships
- Dynamic CRUD: Users can create trips with multiple customizable steps (add/edit/delete)
- Social Interactions: Implemented a 'Like' system and user profiles to save favorite trips.
- Authentication: Secure user management and session handling using Laravel's native tools.
